For cold therapy, place the pack in the freezer for at least 1 hour before use. Insert it into the cloth cover and apply to the affected area for 20–30 minutes. For heat therapy, place the pack in the microwave and heat according to package instructions (usually 30 seconds, then in 10-second intervals until warm). Always test the temperature before applying. Use the adjustable strap to secure comfortably around the affected area.
